The Personal Customers business unit serves Danske Bank’s individual customers in Denmark, Finland and Sweden – from broad retail to affluent and wealth management clients. With the Forward ’28 strategy Danske Bank has defined its ambition and plan for for a profitable growth journey in the years ahead.

Strategy Execution in Personal Customers is responsible for orchestrating the design, delivery, and implementation of the portfolio of initiatives under the Forward ’28 strategy. As our new Head of Strategy Execution Leads, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of our most critical execution initiatives, primarily related to our engagement model and product offering.

Be a part of the team turning the strategy for Personal Customers from plan to action
You will manage a team of 10 strategy execution leads, who as business owners will ensure the end-to-end delivery of impactful strategic initiatives. As such, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the strategy for Personal Customers from plan to action – by ensuring value creation and traction in the execution, helping to eliminate roadblocks along the way and creating transparency on progress and the realization of anticipated outcomes.

Your key activities include:

  • Drive and orchestrate the portfolio of critical execution initiatives to ensure delivery of anticipated outcomes and financial benefits - on behalf of the executive sponsors of the initiatives, and in close collaboration with various stakeholders across the bank
  • Identify and prioritize required sub-initiatives and projects to deliver the anticipated outcomes of the execution initiatives
  • Drive acceleration efforts on the most critical initiatives with employees from your own and other teams across Personal Customers
  • Develop and refine the execution roadmap for the portfolio strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with other entities in the group, including Group Strategic Steering

You will collaborate closely with the Transformation Office which forms the other part of Strategy Execution and key contributors such as Strategy, digital development units known as Tribes, Market Areas and Insights and Engagement teams to ensure that strategy execution follows the overall directions set out in the Forward ’28 strategy.

Drive execution and create transparency on outcome realization.
You are an experienced manager with a strong track record delivering commercial initiatives in collaboration with digital development units. You are a self-starter and will be responsible for your team and their assignments from day one! We trust that you drive and manage tasks to deliver great results. Furthermore, we are looking for a candiate with a solid background including:

  • 5+ years of management experience, ideally from strategy execution, consulting or commercial function, where you have motivated and led highly experienced team members to successfully deliver on a portfolio of complex projects
  • Master's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities
  • A strong consulting toolbox to drive and facilitate structured problem solving and effective presentations to executive stakeholders

You will have the flexibility of working from home, although we expect you to be present in the office 3-4 days per week. The position is based in our new modern headquarter in central Copenhagen. Some travel activities are expected, while we strive to reduce our carbon footprint by meeting colleagues remotely when possible.
