Join our team as an IT Compliance Specialist!

Your role:
As our IT Compliance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we follow the agreed standards of compliance across the Nordic region. Joining forces with a dynamic team covering IT Security Specialists and various operational units, you will support compliance with key regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, and more.

Your responsibilities:

• Hands-on updating and maintaining internal processes, procedures, and templates for IT compliance, including structuring the IT documentation platform
• Offering support internally as a compliance expert
• Organizing, managing, and coordinating periodic reviews of validated systems in coordination with the IT Security Specialist
• Engaging in IT compliance projects and initiatives for both business and internal process improvements
• Participating in IT Security audits
• Educating stakeholders on compliance processes, as relevant
• This is a new position, so you will have the opportunity to participate in shaping the role

The area you will work in:
Our Nordic IT team currently extends across Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, with an exciting integration project in progress to include Finland and Estonia. With 56 stores, 5 service centers, 4500 users and a diverse range of technologies in use—including Azure, SAP S/4 Hana, Adobe Commerce (Magento), Viking POS, SD-WAN+MPLS network, 2300 PCs, 200+ servers, and an external SOC. We are a virtual organization with a multi-cultural team of many nationalities.

What we expect from you:

• A minimum of two years' hands-on experience in IT security and compliance documentation
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in IT security and compliance frameworks and standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and ITIL—certifications are a plus!
• The ability to seamlessly decipher technical jargon and legal intricacies alike, coupled with sound communication and collaboration skills
• An analytical mindset, coupled with a knack for organization and attention to detail
• Actively seeks knowledge and has a proactive approach to staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in the IT security and compliance landscape
• Fluency in English and either Danish or Swedish

You should be passionate about high-quality service, able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive attitude, sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured thinking is crucial for managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
