You will join Direct Procurement. We are globally responsible for all materials, API´s and CDMO’s used in LEO Pharma’s supply chain and for all technical categories.

Your Role
As our Senior Category Manager, you will be the go-to person for all procurement activities within your assigned category. Entailing an overall responsibility for projects, market dynamics, supplier performance situations, risks, total spend, contractual set-up etc.

Assignments associated:

• Develop and implement the Global Category Strategy for CMOs and Analytical Services.
• Ensure overview of risk and identify mitigating actions.
• Maintain Supplier Relationship Management towards strategic suppliers including governance, personal meetings, supplier evaluation across LEO facilitate, and resolve disputes.
• Accountable for all commercial aspect of the relationship with suppliers including price, payment terms, terms and conditions etc.
• Accountable for RFX within the Category.

You will be dealing with vendors and internal stakeholders and be proactive in finding improvement opportunities and pursue them. Your expertise and proactive approach will help identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous growth in our procurement processes.

Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who can bring an action-oriented mindset and ready to own the processes. Flourishing in dynamic environment where collaboration and communication is key for maintaining good relations across and sustaining good alignment.

We imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar.
• Excellent skills within negotiation, Contract Management, Stakeholder Management and Supplier Management
• Several years of experience from Direct Procurement Category Management within the biotechnology/ pharmaceutical industry or equivalent relevant experience.
• Processional proficiency in English.
