We are searching for a DevOps engineer
This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Mortgage Foundation team.
The team consists of software engineers, business analysts and testers and is a part of the Mortgage Program, with includes 4 Mortgage teams. Mortgage solution for BEC’s banks is used on Totalkredit’s new Mortgage Universe and provides a first-class solution for bank advisors when handling mortgage solutions for customers.
The team works together with the 3 other Mortgage teams. Mortgage Foundation is responsible for the system and stable operation. The other Mortgage teams are responsible for developing the future mortgage solution for BEC’s banks.
The DevOps engineer role offers the opportunity to work with tools like Prometheus, OpenShift and Terraform. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Anne Melsing.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Jenkins Upgrade
: Ensure Jenkins is up-to-date and optimize its performance. - Prometheus and Grafana
- Terraform
- Automated Builds and Environment Updates
: Keep our CI/CD pipelines and environment up to date - Groovy Scripts
: Develop and maintain Groovy scripts for application builds, ensuring they are well-documented and tested. - OpenShift Secrets Management
- Version Updates
: Regularly update software versions to maintain security and performance. - Xray and Dispensation Management
: Establish clear procedures and documentation for managing Xray and dispensation tasks. - Monitoring
: create monitoring dashboards, reporting, alerting and notifications.
Application and Pod Monitoring
: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for applications and pods using tools like
Test Environment Management
: Automate the creation and teardown of test environments using tools such as
To succeed you will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps positions.
- A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Good communication skills
