The opportunity
We are in search of a team member, who can effectively blend operational responsibilities with reporting tasks, focusing on all aspects of accounting. You must have a strong interest in managing the comprehensive financial overview for the entire legal entity.

You will be a part of a highly skilled Financial Shared Service Center in Europe and support companies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the UK and the Netherlands. The team consists of six peers, based in our HQ in Västra Hamnen, Malmö.
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work from the office at least three days per week.

European sales affiliates, group finance, auditors, external partners and management teams, just to mention some of them, are fields within the organization where you will be working.

Working within finance is a lot about following a monthly and yearly wheel. Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting activities need to happen when the calendar says so. You will also be supporting the budget process and prep for external audits. A lot of what you will do is happening in close collaboration with our business controllers. They require your financial expertise and insights to effectively perform their duties.

Besides this, there will always be ad-hoc tasks or an ongoing project that a self-driven person like you just can’t stay away from. One of your guiding principles is daring to fail and never afraid of trying. That’s how we learn and keep developing ourselves! Additionally, a second guiding principle is the importance of delivering results punctually.

The successful applicant
While we value extensive knowledge, adaptability and being a team player, are more critical than specialization in a particular field.

But of course, we do have some mandatory boxes for you to tick:

• Bachelor degree in finance/accounting or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience as financial controller/accountant or similar
• Proven background in accounting
• Experience from working in an international environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Interest in ERP systems
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

We consider this as an advantage:

• Experience in IFS
• Experience in AARO
