About the Role
As an AI and Data Architect at GlobalConnect, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the architectural vision for our data and AI landscape. Your knowledge will significantly contribute to generating business value, promoting a culture centered around AI and data, and optimize existing systems to enhance data quality, governance, and integration to support business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across various teams, ensuring seamless data-driven decision-making and innovation.

Some of the things you’ll be working on:

• Evaluate and analyze existing systems to identify data and AI-related opportunities and challenges, develop solutions to optimize quality, performance, and reliability.
• Optimize data management by developing and implementing strategies for master data management, data integration, and quality improvement to enhance accuracy and accessibility.
• Document and communicate complex data concepts, ensuring comprehensive documentation and clear communication with stakeholders across the organization.
• Work closely with security and risk leaders to anticipate and mitigate risks, while also developing and enforcing robust data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry’s best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Work alongside IT architects, Data Engineers, AI Engineers, and business leaders to efficiently advance data and AI initiatives.
• Advocate for data literacy and knowledge sharing, empowering teams to leverage data and AI effectively.

To thrive in this role, we think you have:

• Experience with enterprise-level master data management, including data governance and quality improvements.
• Experience with developing and operating data-driven and AI-driven systems in production.
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, data modeling, and data governance principles.
• Proficiency in data science and advanced analytics, and experience with languages and tools like Python, DBT, and different AI techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data and AI frameworks.
