Do you enjoy diving into data to uncover insights that drive business success? In this role, you will drive financial performance within retail finance and cards, partnering with sales managers to enhance profitability and improve data efficiency. With a broad scope and real impact, you will help shape how we use data to make smarter and faster decisions.

Get an idea of the role
As a Business Controller at Resurs, you will be the key financial partner for our sales managers, with some of your main responsibilities including:

• Analyzing financial results, contribution margins and sales volumes.

• Acting as a trusted advisor to sales managers, supporting them with business cases and financial decision-making.

• Driving the financial planning process to ensure clear targets and alignment.

• Structuring and improving how we access and use data to provide quicker, more reliable answers.

• Digging into data to solve business challenges and optimize financial performance.

We are transforming our team into the go-to resource for business performance insights. The foundation is strong – we have valuable data – but we need to structure and refine our approach to make it more efficient and impactful. You will play a key role in this transformation – helping us shape our data architecture, extract better insights, and ultimately steer the business in the right direction.

On a personal level
As a person, you are analytical, thorough and communicative, as you will have many contacts within the organization. You are also used to handling large amounts of data, are curious and solution-oriented in technical matters.

Key experiences:

• Relevant university education in economics, civil engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years' experience as a business controller, preferably within the financial sector

• Experience in extracting data from databases and coding in SQL

• Fluency in both Swedish and English

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik is highly valued
