Your responsibilities and tasks:
At our Søborg office, you will join a global engineering team with access to top-tier knowledge, development, and advanced equipment. You will collaborate with dedicated colleagues in a dynamic, professional environment characterized by professional pride, curiosity, and readiness for change – with a joint aim to deliver the best solutions to our customers. You will be part of a skilled automation team driving project execution.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for executing automation projects, from design to commissioning, while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders. Your role involves both technical expertise and project execution, ensuring seamless integration of automation packages.
More specifically, you will:
- Design and manage automation solutions for process plants, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets
- Program and configure SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems, as well as develop and maintain standard automation software solutions
- Conduct testing and commissioning, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and troubleshooting worldwide
- Oversee control design activities, ensuring technical resolutions, process integrity, and alignment with specifications
- Ensure quality assurance by implementing relevant QA procedures and preparing user manuals for software packages and tools.
You will work closely with global automation teams and should expect approximately 50 travel days per year.
Your profile and qualifications:
You are passionate and curious about technology and possess a focused and analytic drive to proactively seek solutions when faced with obstacles. With your strong communication skills, you are able to interact, communicate, and present sometimes complex information to both specialists as well as non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
We furthermore imagine that you bring:
- Several years of experience in industrial automation, process control, working with P&IDs and Functional Descriptions
- Relevant education in electrical engineering, automation, or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradely etc..), including hand on experience.
- Familiarity with Virtual Machines, SQL databases
- In Depth understanding of ATEX regulation and hazardous area equipment
- English proficiency and perhaps also Danish skills.
