Your role in our team
As our new Finance Business Consultant, you will be focusing on supporting Global Finance and the business on improved using of projects modules within our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. We have been using IFS as ERP system for more than 20 years.
In Terma, many activities are driven through projects and as our new ERP Finance Business Consultant, you will have a central role in how projects are setup and how transactions are booked on projects. Moreover, you will play a key role in connecting how projects are used within the business by being a touchpoint for Finance and the business using projects to plan and capture project data.
You will become part of a dedicated Business Application team consisting of 8 colleagues where we thrive to help benefit from the business-critical systems used within Terma. The team have process area knowledge on the processes that support the business and works with:
- System configuration
- Specification of Customizations, Reports, Integrations and Modifications
- Testing and verification
- Support on system usage
- Upgrades
- Changes management
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- Project configuration
- The current and coming changes where you will be giving guidance on pros and cons on configuration changes
- Project processes
- Current processes and changes where you will be giving guidance on pros and cons on process changes
- Change support
- Work with the business and support change efforts based on decided improvements
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accountancy
- You have preferably 3-5 years of professional experience
- Experience with business-critical systems (ERP/EPM) is required. We are using IFS for ERP and is in the process of implementing an EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) system
- You have specific knowledge about project accounting, project budgeting and project forecasting
You are a positive and outgoing person with a structured mindset that enables you to plan ahead and stay organized. Naturally curious, you like to dig into how things function and enjoy uncovering the details. You are self-driven, proactive, take initiative and drive things forward. Your communication skills are a strong asset, making it easy for you to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the organization. You are comfortable working independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. You thrive with a balance between clearly defined tasks and opportunities to contribute to ongoing development within your area.
