We can offer you the following tasks
MAN Energy Solutions offers a tailor-made trainee program with a duration of 15 months. You will take responsibility for your own projects and have the opportunity to broaden your horizons through e.g. off-the-job training, mentoring and networking events. You can also gain intercultural experience at one of our global locations.

• In the purchasing / procurement trainee program in the supply chain area of the Turbomachinery product line, you will get to know the working methods, activities and challenges in the purchasing area
• You will work through important interface functions within the supply chain, such as order planning and processing as well as logistics
• You will actively work on strategic and operational purchasing topics and get to know key areas including interface functions such as engineering and quality
• The program includes an interdisciplinary project assignment of up to 3 months at one of our international locations
• Another component of the program is participation in seminars to develop career-related skills and expand your network within the company
• We offer permanent employment in a correspondingly valuable position in the purchasing area of the Oberhausen supply chain, whereby we will work with you to shape your future position based on our needs and, above all, on your talents and results

You can help us with these qualifications

• Above-average Master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
• Relevant practical experience in purchasing, for example through internships or working student activities lasting several months
• At least 4 months stay abroad
• Very good german and english skills (further languages welcome)
• Strong interest in purchasing processes in plant and mechanical engineering
• Proven organizational talent and practical experience both during studies and through extracurricular activities
• Confident handling of MS Office programs
• Exceptional commitment, motivation and entrepreneurial thinking
• Very good communication and cooperation skills
• Open to foreign cultures, regionally mobile and flexible with respect to your job
