Product Traceability Specialist
ECCO SKO A/S
Would you like to play a central role in driving greater transparency and accountability in the footwear and apparel industry? Are you ready to connect people and systems to create practical solutions – in a company that owns its entire value chain?
Turning Regulations into Real-World Solutions
At ECCO's headquarters in Tønder, you’ll join Global Group Responsibility & Sustainability. We work closely to ensure our products meet environmental, social, and traceability requirements – from raw materials to store shelves.
The Group Product compliance covers all branded ECCO products across the world. We provide expertise knowledge of regulations, and cross-functional collaboration – reaching across ECCO’s entire global value chain.
As a Product Traceability Specialist, you’ll operate at the intersection of legislation, data and product development. Your main task is to ensure ECCO’s products meet relevant environmental and traceability regulations – and that our internal processes support this across countries, suppliers and product categories.
You’ll act as a bridge between external requirements and internal systems and play a key role in translating complex legislation into practical steps. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in product development, sourcing, quality and IT – as well as our global network of suppliers.
You’ll take on a varied portfolio of responsibilities, including:
- Staying updated on evolving regulations and assessing their relevance for ECCO’s products and markets
- Analysing legal requirements, identifying gaps, and ensuring we maintain proper documentation
- Developing and refining internal procedures in close collaboration with product development and sourcing
- Leading data collection, reporting, and audit support, ensuring we’re always prepared for inspections
- Supporting internal teams and external suppliers through training, documentation, and ongoing guidance
You know how to turn complexity into clarity …
… and you thrive in an international setting. You bring solid experience in product compliance, sourcing and/or traceability and a strong grasp of how to navigate across regulations, markets and functions. With an analytical mindset and collaborative spirit, you translate regulatory complexity into practical, value-creating solutions.
We imagine that you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in product compliance, sustainability or procurement – ideally within the consumer goods industry
- Hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g. in science, procurement or sustainability)
- Possess strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to traceability, waste, deforestation and product certification such as EPR, PPWR, EUDR, and DPP, as well as standards like GRS and GOTS
- Work independently, systematically and with great attention to detail in a dynamic environment
- Communicate clearly in English and enjoy working with cross-functional teams and external partners
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
