EG A/S is seeking a highly skilled, growth- and performance-oriented Vice President of Professional Services. A unique opportunity to lead the largest Professional Services unit within EG A/S with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring profitable projects and strategic growth through strong customer collaboration. The role focuses on optimizing Customer onboarding processes delivering value to customers as our software helps the customer achieve their desired outcome. This requires a profile ensuring project profitability, driving revenue, and fostering accountability to build a scalable and high-performing consulting business.

The Role
As one of the largest business units within EG A/S, Retail & Wholesale serves 80 of the largest retail and wholesale chains in the Nordics and more than 10,000 stores in +20 countries within specialist trade, grocery convenience and building supply. The business unit operates with a total budget exceeding 400 million DKK.
You will be responsible for a unit of 70 professionals, including consultants and project managers, spread across multiple Nordic locations. Serving Nordic enterprise customers with their core systems with large business impact, responsible for complex, large projects your leadership will drive profitability, transparency, and operational excellence while ensuring exceptional customer engagement and satisfaction.
As this is the largest Professional Services business within EG, we expect you to contribute to the overall development of PS capabilities across the company. You will play a key role in setting the PS agenda within this functional area while collaborating closely with other functions of the business unit, leveraging your expertise to drive best practices and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities
- Profitability & Growth: Lead with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring profitable project execution aligned with strategic goals. Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue from existing and new service offerings, focusing on both project profitability and customer lifetime value.
- Operational & Delivery Excellence: Monitor financial metrics - including project budgets, profit margins, and resource utilization - to enhance overall business performance. Ensure optimal resource allocation and manage full P&L for a financially sustainable consulting organization.
- Leadership & Team Development: Cultivate a motivating and learning-focused culture where employees thrive, continuously grow, and are empowered through accountability and data-driven decision-making.
- Customer Success & Growth: Strengthen client relationships, drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure smooth customer onboarding and continued value realization, improving Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Standardization & Best Practices: Ensure methodologies, KPIs, and best practices are implemented to ensure project quality, consistency, and timely delivery with high customer satisfaction.
Your Profile
Your background can be various, but to succeed in this role, we imagine you bring the following qualifications: Proven success in leading and optimizing Professional Services and/or track-record of excellent project/program execution and delivery in an international SaaS/Tech company.
- A data-driven performance mindset with strong execution skills and a bias for action in a target-driven environment.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building trust-based relationships.
- Negotiation expertise in managing large contracts with scope changes, and service agreements effectively.
- Strong project and program management skills, ensuring precise execution and consistent on-time delivery with right professional services margins
- The ability to perform under pressure and effectively navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
- Strong leadership skills to foster a positive culture, drive professional development, and foster high team motivation.
- Experience working with enterprise customers; knowledge of the retail sector is a plus but not a requirement.
Success in this role requires a strategic mindset combined with the ability to develop and drive high-impact initiatives, while also being hands-on with customers and teams to ensure seamless execution and fast, tangible results.

You are passionate about structure and best practices, and you excel at optimizing processes and implementing efficiency improvements. You are a team player and contribute to a community of Professional Service leaders across business divisions while you collaborate closely with Head of Corporate PMO on initiatives to drive performance and customer success.
Your agile thinking and team-oriented approach, combined with high integrity, make you a natural leader. Additionally, your excellent communication and facilitation skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels including client stakeholders at C-level.
