Student Assistant – Advanced Material Technology / Sustainability Integration

Your Challenges
Joining our Sustainability Integration function in the Advanced Material Technology department located in Østbirk, you will support the department's research and development efforts, helping to advance the company's sustainable innovation in the field of materials and technology.
Your tasks will be tailored to fit your profile but could include some of the following aspects:
- Assisting in carbon footprint calculations and life cycle assessments to enhance our sustainability reporting.
- Developing processes and tools for tracking, evaluating and improving environmental impact.
- Creating compelling and precise communication for executive management in relation to our sustainability initiatives, e.g. within our technology innovations.
- Conducting data analysis and developing reports.
- Communication and coordination with our external partners e.g. suppliers, institutions and universities.
We are looking for a student who can work 10-15 hours per week being on site (Østbirk) 2 days per week. Your work hours are flexible and can be adjusted to match your studies and classes.
Your Qualifications
To contribute effectively in this position, a proactive and hands-on approach, coupled with a collaborative spirit and the ability to manage your own tasks, is crucial. Your problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility for the integrity and quality of your work will be paramount. Additionally, possessing an analytical and structured mindset, along with advanced communication skills is key, especially given your role in managing communication for senior management and external collaborations.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Are proficient in Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi.
- Have an interest in sustainability related to innovation with a focus on materials and technologies
- Enjoy working with numerical data
- Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Are enrolled in a study programme in Denmark (bachelor or master) e.g. within Sustainable Engineering, business, or other engineering relevant education.
