Job Description
Are you our new Supervisor in Tool Design & Manufacturing at Danfoss Heat Exchangers in Kolding?

Do you have experience in tool design and manufacturing and a passion for leading a dynamic team? At Danfoss Heat Exchangers in Kolding, we are looking for a Supervisor to ensure our tooling manufacturing processes run efficiently and with the highest quality. You will play a key role in coordinating tasks, schedules, and collaborating with our R&D team and global partners. Are you ready to take responsibility and make an impact? Keep reading!

Job Responsibilities

• Leadership and Coordination: You will be responsible for both shop floor and office staff in our tooling department. Your job is to ensure that we work according to the right priorities, schedules, and budgets.

• Focus on Quality: You will ensure that all processes meet our high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. We don’t compromise!

• Collaboration with R&D: You will work closely with our R&D team on new product developments, testing, and tool-related tasks. This means you will play a central role in the development of new solutions.

• Global Coordination: You will be responsible for managing the transport of tools, parts, and materials to both internal and external sites worldwide, meaning a global perspective will be part of your daily work.

• Time Registration & Planning: You will use our IT systems to track time usage, costs, and priorities, ensuring that we stay on track.

• Tool Maintenance: You will ensure that all our tools are in top condition and that we have the right materials and investments in place. You will also be responsible for managing tool pricing and documentation.

Background & Skills

• Experience: You have at least 3-5 years of experience in tool design and manufacturing, and you are ready to take on a leadership role where you can set the direction for your team.

• Education: You have an engineering degree or another technical background that provides you with an understanding of the processes we work with.

• Language Skills: You are fluent in both Danish and English, both written and spoken.

• Travel Requirements: You are open to some (not much) travel activity – we operate across several countries, and you will need to be ready for travel when necessary.
