Sports Business Controller

Right now, we’re looking for a Business Controller to join our great Sports Finance team in Stockholm.

The role:
We are looking for our new Business Controller who will take an important role in budgeting, forecasting, controlling and streamlining our Sport Productions across markets. In this role, you will also be supporting the Sport Operation and Sport Finance Management on financial planning and ad hoc projects. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting and work closely with your colleagues in the finance organization. You will be a part of a dedicated Sport Finance team and will be working in a creative and inspiring environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Budgeting and forecasting of Sport Productions
• Cost controlling of various rights and markets
• Month-end close and reporting
• Financial support to operations
• Development and process optimizations
• Ad hoc tasks and other sports finance-related projects

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a person, preferably passionate about Sports with strong analytical skills who has the ability to see relations between business activities and financials. We need someone with a high working capacity who enjoys getting things done with a can-do attitude. Your drive and ability to take initiatives will be highly valued.

• Hold an academic background in Business, Finance, or similar
• Have 3–5 years of work experience from a complex organization in a Finance, Controlling, or Finance business partnering role
• Possess a problem-solving attitude and hands-on approach with high energy and work ethic
• Demonstrate strong execution skills and attention to detail
• Are self-driven and result-oriented
• Have strong Excel skills and experience in Business intelligence is preferable
• Have strong English skills, oral and written
• Are willing to travel to local stakeholders in The Nordics and The Netherlands.
