Your Key Responsibilities
- Handling inquiries and creating tailored proposals and solutions that hit the mark.
- Driving sales conversations focused on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing quick responses.
- Negotiating and closing deals for both B2B and private events.
- Sales and planning of meetings, conferences, training sessions, and corporate events.
- Selling "life’s celebrations" – weddings, anniversaries, and other milestone events.
- Booking events and rooms in Opera.
- Participating in site tours, customer meetings, and evaluations.
- Cross-functional collaboration with our skilled teams in F&B, Front Office, and Operations.
Who Are You?
- You have solid experience in relationship-based sales and understand the value of trust and personal service.
- You’re quick on the draw, balancing speed with quality.
- You are curious, creative, and good at putting yourself in the customer’s shoes.
- You have an eye for both the commercial and the aesthetic – understanding the importance of setting and design.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment with many balls in the air.
- You have experience in MICE sales, and ideally also with private events.
- You are fluent in both Danish and English, with additional language skills a plus.
- You are familiar with Opera, MS Office, and ideally meeting portals.
Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in meeting and event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, along with strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple clients and events at once while paying attention to detail. Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office is required, and you should be flexible to work.
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration is preferred, as well as knowledge of local and international event trends and best practices.
