Your role in our team
As part of our Infrastructure & Automation, you will assist in delivering high quality solutions that builds, manage, and rolls out automated software deployments to our crucial test infrastructure.

You will get to know both software and hardware, but you will also experience the importance and value of proper documentation ensuring that others may follow-up on your solutions.

How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your primary tasks and responsibilities as a Developer in Multi Domain System will be:

• Create self-service applications
• IDE integration and setup using code styles and templates
• Automation of boring manual processes, Report generation (release notes), Security labeling and Branching / releasing (flex setup)
• Modernizing and evaluate AI tools and assist in migration from gerrit to Gitlab
• Monitoring quality metric extraction (code churn) and build trends

You will also:

• Participate in the team alignment events like planning, refinement, retrospective, and review & demo
• Spar and share knowledge with your fellow engineers in the R&D organization
• Participate in test activities necessary to ensure reference systems are ready for use
• Participate in delivering support to users of test environments and to ensure effective use
• Participate in creating a good, healthy, and fun environment for you and your colleagues to work in

Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level (all documentation and much communication are in English). Danish is an advantage but not a requirement

• Ideally you have a few years of experience from a similar job. E.g. Working with System/Software development or IT.
• You have extensive experience with the following
  • Java (Maven plugins, archetypes)
  • Groovy (Jenkins pipelines)
  • Shell (Bash) (Jenkins pipelines)
  • Dependency Management systems (Maven)
  • IntelliJ
  • Integration with Rest APIs using Java (JIRA, SQ, Git/Gerrit etc.)

While not required, experience with the following is beneficial:

• Experience with virtualization and container orchestration
• Fundamental Network and database understanding
• Experience with Jenkins / Gerrit or other software for automation of Build, Test, Deployment and code review.
• Experience with Windows and Power shell.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
