About the role
To support our exciting growth journey, we are seeking a motivated Engineering Monitoring Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Team Lead in our Engineering Control Center (ECC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our core infrastructure, systems, applications, and services.

As part of the ECC team, you will:

  • Monitor all incoming alerts using our advanced monitoring application, Dynatrace.
  • Perform 1st level support and efficiently escalate and manage incidents.
  • Ensure 24/7 proactive monitoring to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage escalation and follow-up of alerts and incidents until resolution.

You will be based in our new offices in Singapore and help build a Monitoring Team in the APAC region.

What you will be doing
In the event of a major incident, you will take control of the process and lead efforts to restore operations swiftly and effectively.

Your role will involve :

  • Assessing the impact of incidents on both the business and customers, ensuring minimal disruption and clear communication.
  • You will participate in continuous investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues in a demanding 24x7x365 environment, showcasing your problem-solving skills and resilience.
  • Performing daily system health checks will be part of your routine to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
  • You will execute manual changes as needed to maintain system integrity and performance. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain documentation and reports to ensure transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for
To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position or within an IT Operations environment. We value curiosity and a strong drive to expand your knowledge and skills.

We expect you to have:

  • Basic IT skills and knowledge
  • ITIL certification, Azure and Kubernetes experience is a plus

Your strong customer focus allows you to adapt and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency.
