Key responsibilities
In this role, you will support senior commercial leaders across the EMEA and APAC regions in driving business performance while being part of driving the corporate commercial finance performance processes and outlooks. You can expect exposure to senior stakeholders and will work closely with colleagues from finance, marketing and sales in analysing and driving sales performance, enhancing reporting and helping to empower commercial leaders.
The position is situated in our headquarters in Ballerup, where you will report to the Senior Director, Business Finance and Analytics with a dotted line to Director of Commercial Finance EMEA & APAC.

As a Senior Commercial Business Finance Partner your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Commercial Business Finance Partner supporting commercial leaders across EMEA region together with the EMEA/APAC Finance director and country finance managers.
- Leading the commercial planning cycle and performance reviews across EMEA/APAC.
- Driving commercial finance best practice across countries and regions, elevating commercial planning and execution.
- Developing sales analysis that enables informed decisions and progress, including trending and projection of sales, opportunity pipeline analysis, market potentials and penetration analysis, customer behaviour, and rebuying trends.
- Developing commercial analysis to enable decisions including resource prioritization, pricing, and margin analysis to drive profitable growth.
- Collaborating with our Business Intelligence team to further scale commercial finance best practice and leverage our BI tools to bring insights and create efficiencies in our processes.
- Participating in projects and conduct ad-hoc analysis as assigned by management.
- Presenting data analysis to key stakeholders across the wider business, ensuring clear communication and actionable insights.

We seek a highly motivated candidate eager to develop their skills and deeply understand our business.
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Strong academic background with a master’s degree in finance, business, or a similar field combined with around 4-6 years of experience in finance, including commercial business partnering role(s) in a global matrix organization.
- Experience with commercial analysis, commercial excellence, and/or commercial finance partnering.
- Proven ability to engage, connect and build strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, particularly commercial stakeholders, to capture insights and drive best practices.
- Experience in managing and analyzing trends relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, variances, and profit margins, as well as developing and continuously improving strategic projections. Ability to analyse complex data and effectively communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Basic understanding of MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel. Knowledge of BI tools like PowerBI is an advantage but not a requirement. It is important that you have an interest in these tools and are eager to develop your skillset to reach a proficient level.
- Highly effective communicator, fluent in English, both oral and written, and confident in presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ability to multi-task and work under time constraints and strict deadlines while providing a high level of service to the business.
