This position is based at our friendly office in Warszawa, Poland and you will join our Ops Process Enablement team. The Ops Process Enablement within the area IT Service Management oversees operational processes, ensuring service levels are met, and providing excellent customer service. The team is responsible for supporting and enable
operational processes
in BEC, that balance stability, effectiveness, throughput, governance, compliance, and risk control.
The Asset & Configuration Manager role offers engagement in driving transparency in O&M by setting the standard for Process Management and building a strong CMDB supporting a stable and secure operations. across BEC.
At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to
work remotely up to 8 days per month.
Your direct manager will be Sys Mortensen.
This is
a 1+ year maternity leave cover role
, but at BEC, if you demonstrate your engagement and motivation, we are open to help you find a role internally in the area you are working on for another one.
Primary task and responsibilities include:
- Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand CMDB requirements.
- Maintain CSDM 4.0 framework and CMDB practices.
- Maintain and operate according to the SACM process and procedures.
- Maintaining the integrity of the configuration management database (CMDB)
- Ensures data quality, accuracy and completeness in the CMDB.
- Capability of coaching and educating stakeholders about the CMDB usages.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve assets & configuration management issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
To succeed you will have:
Preferably, you have a bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Service Management (preferable asset and configuration management)
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- First-rate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great knowledge of ServiceNow
- A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
It’s nice-to-have:
- Proven track record of managing complex IT environments.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies (Kanban)
