The team you will be part of:
At our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join the Digital, Data & IT (DDI) team that is instrumental in promoting digitization throughout the GN Group, managing and evolving our digital, data, and IT landscape to empower the entire organization to thrive in revolutionary technology advancements in audio and video solutions.

Commercial Solutions consists of three clusters, individually focused on collaboration, engagement and digital delivery in lockstep with each of the three commercial Divisions (Gaming, Hearing & Enterprise).

Would you like to contribute significantly to the partnership between DDI and our Hearing Division?
In the Hearing cluster in Commercial Solutions, we are on the lookout for an Engagement Manager to join our Hearing-focused teams.

In this role, you will balance your time across key interfaces towards the leadership in Hearing, towards other Engagement Managers across all DDI, as well as, towards the leadership in Commercial Solutions.

You will join the Commercial Solutions Leadership Team (of currently 8 people) and you will act as close support, sparring and confidant to the Chief Digital Officer, to whom you will report.

As Engagement Manager, you are the lifeblood of the Commercial Solutions, as you are accountable for finding, shaping, and overseeing delivery of complex technology work.

You interact with key business stakeholders and get a deep understanding of their business processes. You use this knowledge to help DDI and the Hearing Division to prioritize the initiatives and operational activities.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Work with our Hearing Division to shape and define Initiatives and Changes that benefit our Hearing Division and our customers.
  • Build and grow relationships with our Hearing stakeholders to deliver complex multi-party implementations. Source, shape, and manage these activities.
  • Act as senior representative for the duration of the engagement.
  • End-2-end accountable for delivering activities including managing quality of work, hitting deadlines and budget, and ensuring ownership becomes anchored in the organization.
  • Collaborate with all areas of Digital, Data & IT to find and commit resources against a roadmap of Hearing engagements.
  • Develop and maintain a solid overview of current and future Hearing activities in a detailed roadmap used in regular communication with Hearing- and Digital, Data & IT stakeholders.

To thrive in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • Well developed technology experience and understanding.
  • Sound business knowledge and the capability to communicate clearly.
  • Literacy in Business, Product, Design, Engineering, and Project Management.
  • Several years of experience leading teams to define requirements, shape processes, and stay accountable to business commitments across engagements of all sizes.
  • Understanding of and proficiency in managing technical systems and interacting with stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of agile development processes.
  • Comfort with financial processes like project estimation and cost management.
  • Significant experience in project management and leadership, interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels.
  • End-users focus and ability to understand and translate the voice of the user and customer into strategy and execution plans.
  • Experience in ensuring an IT-focused product organization into a modern user-centric product-focused organization.
  • Ability to develop partnerships and implement change strategies in a varied environment.
  • A higher educational level within Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or other relevant area of study.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and in writing and ability to communicate in a Scandinavian language.

At a personal level, we imagine that you are likely rather extroverted and fond of engaging with other people with diverse perspectives and backgrounds. You possess the skill to oversee a multitude of tasks without becoming overwhelmed.

Additionally, this position calls for a harmonious balance between keeping an overarching perspective and engaging directly in the execution of vital Hearing initiatives.
