We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager for our UKI & Nordics Sales Region.
You will be part of both the UKI and Nordics management team and support the VP of the region in driving profitable growth. You will work in close cooperation with colleagues from finance, marketing, sales and business operations in analyzing and driving sales performance, enhance reporting and help empower commercial leaders.
You will work out of our headquarter office in Ballerup, Denmark, where you will report to the VP of the region with a dotted line to the Commercial Finance Director for EMEA & APAC.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Finance Manager your responsibilities include:
- Act as Commercial Finance Partner supporting the VP and commercial leaders of the region.
- Lead the commercial planning cycle and performance reviews including budget, quarterly forecast and strategic financial plan.
- Drive commercial finance best practice across the region, elevate commercial planning and execution.
- Develop Sales analysis that enables informed decisions and progress. This includes among others, trending and projection of sales, opportunity pipeline analysis, market potentials and penetration analysis, customer behavior and rebuying trends.
- Develop commercial analysis to enable decisions including resource prioritization, pricing, and margin analysis to drive profitable growth.
- Leverage Power Bi tools
- Participate in projects and conduct ad-hoc analysis as assigned by management.
- Presentation of data analysis to key stakeholders across the business
- Make proposals for process and practice improvements with information on trends and internal activities.
- Contribute to teamwork with proposals and active listening to the situations of each department.
- Help other team members understand results, relevant KPIs, and action plans.

The ideal applicant should possess the ability to analyze complex data and effectively communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
- Strong academic background with a degree in finance, business or similar field.
- Experience with commercial analysis, commercial excellence and/or commercial finance partnering.
- Experience in managing and analyzing trends relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, variances and profit margin as well as developing and continuously improving strategic projections.
- Thrive in engaging and connecting with various stakeholders across markets, to capture insights, drive best practice and performance.
- Have a basic understanding of MS Office Suite with emphasis on Excel. Knowledge about BI tools e.g. Power BI is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is important that you have an interest in these tools and are eager to develop your skillset to reach a proficient level.
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
- Highly effective communicator, who can build internal and external relationships across the business with a high level of integrity.
- Business fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Fast learner and flexible towards change
As a person, you will have the ability to multi-task and work under time constraints and strict deadlines while providing a high level of service to the business.
