Product Owner

In BEC we are on our way to become the Leading Nordic Fintech Integrator, and as product owner you will be key in realizing this ambition.

You will be based at BEC in Roskilde, and you will be joining a small but progressive team, Mortgage Management, within the Customer & Products Division.

Mortgage Product Management is responsible for prioritizing the backlog on Products within the Mortgage program

The team has a clear purpose: Maximize business value for our customers, the banks, by close and structured approach to collaboration, and strong governance around prioritizing, and following op.

In the Mortgage program we have several important tasks, including tasks from Totalkredit and E-nettet, where you will play a vital role in reaching our goals

Primary task and responsibilities:

In the position as product owner, you will work closely with the development team, product manager and product owners of other domains. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Understand customer needs, and convert them to requirements
• Build and maintain a prioritized backlog 5 quarters ahead for your products, using a product mindset
• Actively contribute to accelerating BEC
• Together with the customers & Product Manager define and maintain the product strategy

To succeed you will have:

• Work structured and independent, motivated by customer needs
• Knowledge about data governance
• Curious, motivated by new challenges
• Team player, ready to help others, and not afraid to ask for help yourself
• Proactive
• Fluency in Danish and English both written and spoken

Preferably, you have an educational background at Bachelor or Master’s degree within business administration, Finance or IT and 3-4 years of experience from a similar position e.g. product owner or business analyst.

Previous experience working with Mortgage and the cooperation with Totalkredit/NRP (ny realkredit platform) will be advantage, but not a must. And Experience working agile and in Jira is seen as an advantage.
