The Head of Engineering is a member of the Product Experience Leadership Team (PX LT) which is collectively responsible for product strategy, product management, design, engineering, quality, and educational impact of the LEGO Education portfolio. The position reports to the Head of Product Experience and will look after firmware, software and QA. The role will be responsible for managing a wider team of 17~ and we are therefore looking for a strong business and people leader that will create an engaging “playground” for everyone within the team.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with the governance of Open Source projects (e.g., licensing, community management, workflows, etc) preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with academic partners on joint development projects and/or IP licensing (e.g., MIT, Harvard) preferred.
  • Passion for education and learning.
