Manual QA Engineer – End-of-the-Year Contract

This is a temporary position until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension
In the role of Manual QA Engineer in our Digital Experience Enterprise team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will support the delivery of high-quality customer-facing web applications by executing manual testing activities, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring a smooth and bug-free user experience.

The Digital Experience Enterprise team develops and maintains a wide range of online platforms and services that support GN’s business across various digital channels. We are a collaborative, distributed team that values open communication, flexibility, and continuous improvement. As a team, we work towards providing dependable and accessible solutions that cater to millions of users around the world.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Assist in developing and implementing test plans and test cases for web-based applications
- Perform manual testing to ensure digital solutions meet quality and performance standards
- Collaborate with developers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Designers to define quality expectations
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools
- Provide clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders
- Participate in agile ceremonies and support the team with testing-related activities
- Support continuous improvement by identifying ways to optimize QA processes
- Contribute to release preparation and quality checks
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
- Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in QA, with a focus on web applications.
- Are familiar with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Have a solid understanding of agile frameworks and work effectively within team-oriented settings
- Know how to write structured test cases and document test results clearly
- Have experience using tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar test and bug tracking platforms
- Can work with REST APIs using tools like Postman
- Demonstrate proficient communication and critical thinking skills
- Pay close attention to detail and take pride in delivering quality work
- Be proficient in English and effectively engage in global teamwork
It is beneficial to have experience with:
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., C# or JavaScript)
- ISTQB certification or interest in pursuing one
- Load testing tools such as JMeter
