What You Will Do
We are looking for a Domain Architect to support strategic initiatives to improve our Supply Chain capabilities.

The Domain Architect for the Supply Chain area plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with the business capabilities and IT Products following the SAFe framework. This role is essential for ensuring that the IT architecture is composed effectively to support various systems, including Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, and Order Management.

The role plays an active part in leading the transformation of how we transform our Supply Chain in a groupwide context

In your role, you will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Business Process Owners, subject matter experts and users to understand the needs of the business, as well as colleagues in our IT delivery teams. You will do this in order to ensure that the Supply Chain architecture is well-integrated with other parts of the organisation. Further, you will also work closely with relevant software vendors.

In your daily work, you will apply agile methods to ensure a flexible and incremental approach to product development. You are expected to shape the process and system architecture to support the overall STARK organisation and use creative thinking to identify how business capabilities and processes can be reshaped to better support the scalability and efficiency of implementing digital products.

Some Of Your Key Activities Will Be To

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Supply Chain domain, including industry best practices, emerging trends, and specific business processes related to Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, and Order Management.
  • Analyse the existing IT architecture landscape and identify opportunities for composable architecture within the Supply Chain domain, ensuring seamless integration between systems like Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, and Order Management.
  • Lead the high-level solution design within the Supply Chain domain, ensuring they are scalable, flexible, and aligned with the overall IT architecture strategy.
  • Apply SAFe principles and practices to ensure that the architecture and solutions support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and contribute to the overall value stream.
  • Ensure that the Supply Chain architecture adheres to relevant compliance standards, data privacy regulations, and security requirements.

What You Bring
As our future colleague, you have some years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or Supply Chain domain Architect, with a focus on supply chain systems. You have a passion for architectural modeling and design tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, ArchiMate), and you enjoy working with and have an in-dept knowledge of SAFe framework and Agile methodologies. As a Business Domain Architect, you probably also bring the following capabilities and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Supply Chain processes and technologies, including Supply Planning, Warehouse Management, Transport Management, and Order Management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe Scaled Agilist, TOGAF) are a plus.

Workplace is in Denmark, Aarhus (preferred) or Frederiksberg area

Expected travel is 12-15 days a year.
