Opportunity The Global Programs Manager, reporting to the Global Head of Fulfilled by Maersk Engineering independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge of construction program and project management principles and practices in a high paced growth focused company. Global Program Manager is responsible for managing the Engineering programs for all strategic asset investments in the warehousing & fulfilment space for Maersk. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for program management of all construction projects of the company, from pre-IP to completion. Develops the scopes, schedules and plans for smooth IP and construction processes Collaboration with Global and Regional stakeholders to ensure timely Engineering resources allocated during the Investment process Key link to Finance, Investment and Procurement teams on Construction Program Management Drive data and visibility enablement of projects to the business Understanding of construction cost management and driving adoption of best practices Develops new techniques and processes to drive standardization. Develop and implement the program management and project management processes and structure required to provide clear planning, oversight, and execution of projects across the organization. Support a culture of continuous improvement and look for opportunities to improve processes and manage projects more efficiently. Direct the development and implementation of construction management methodologies. Including advancing project management maturity; enhancing project schedule, resource, cost, and quality management. Support business planning activities based on project workload across the business. Drive transformation of program management towards digitization, standardization, automation and scalability What are we looking for: BS or BA degree in business, project management, engineering, or related field related working experience can offset college degree. Verifiable experience working ideally in Logistic infrastructure, development, and/or construction industry. Experience with applicable technology including; control systems, data collection, software applications, Customer escalation and conflict resolution skills desirable Resource planning and mitigation management, Cost budget management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI Experience using task management tools including but not limited to; MS Teams, Smartsheet, Asana, or others. Experience working for a diverse multi-disciplined company Strong team building and leadership skills Energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic Strong communication skills to clearly articulate vision into an executable plan Entrepreneurial spirit and risk taking #LI-SC4
