IN VIKING we have global service network, which consists of +65 own service stations and +200 partner stations. To develop our Service Network even further we have identified Service Master data, as one of the key elements in our Service strategy.

As the Service Master Data Manager you will be part of our Global Service organisation and be responsible for developing, implementing and governing our Service master data strategy.

Based at our office in Laem Chabang, Thailand you will be responsible for the Service Master data department.

You will report to the Service Director, Global Network (Based in Denmark) and will be part of the Global Network management team.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for the overall Service master data strategy
  • Responsible for the Service master data department
  • Provide leadership in data management activities such as designing service data models or developing new service data management practices
  • Ensure that service data is accurate by conducting audits in service stations and identifying gaps
  • Design and implement service data management policies and procedures for the Regions
  • Develop a long-term strategy for data management within the organization based on the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Review service data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within service network
  • Create guidelines for data structure within the organization to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organized, and accessed
  • Develop standards for storing and accessing data using tools such as relational databases and data warehouses
  • Develop and implement processes for data governance such as data quality checks and data audits

Your profile
The prerequisites for success in the position are that you have:

  • Bachelor´s degree or higher
  • At least 5 years of experience working with master data
  • Office advanced user
  • Experienced with SAP
  • Experience as a people manager

You will work closely with other departments and colleagues, therefore you are great at communication and working across the organization. On a personal level we expect you to be responsive and positive, with a ''can do'' attitude, detail oriented and precise team player.

Since our corporate language is English, you have great English skills – both written and orally.
