The position
Take responsibility for the world's leading provider of technologies and services integrating, from the sensor to the test report, the entire measurement chain dedicated to all physical phenomena, mechanical, electrical, acoustic and vibration domains.

We are currently looking for a Sales Manager based in UK/Denmark to lead our Test and Measurement sales Team based in UK and Denmark.

Our new Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, coaching and driving the Direct Sales Channel in in our Test and Measurement Market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing company strategy within your functions across region. Additionally, you will be managing a team of approximately 8 employees based across the region, ensuring they reach individual as well as collective targets.

Reporting to EMEA Sales Director, you will become part of our EMEA Sales Management team. This is therefore an ideal role for candidates with previous management experience within Sales in a Test and Measurement world and industrial world looking to join a highly dynamic organization, where you will have the chance to leave a lasting legacy on the organization.

Primary responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the existing sales team to achieve order and revenue growth.
  • Set individual sales targets and provide coaching to your sales team.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecasts effectively.
  • Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies for your designated territory, collaborating with the marketing team.
  • Gather customer and market feedback and report it to the organization.
  • Monitor sales team performance, analyze sales data, provide regular forecasts, and report to regional heads.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider European Sales Force.
  • Promote the organization and its products.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our ideal customer profile and uphold our company values.
  • Manage key accounts personally.

Professional qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering; a Business degree or MBA would be a valuable addition.
  • Proven success in sales.
  • Experience in related industries such as Engineering, Automotive, or Aeronautics.
  • Proficiency in coaching, pipeline and funnel management.
  • Documented experience in sales training and sales management positions.
  • Dedication to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to lead a sales team effectively.
  • Preferably more than 5 years of documented experience in sales management roles.
  • Experience in managing and driving sales teams.

Personal skills

  • Strong knowledge of the Measurement and Instrumentation industry.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to lead a sales team.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital sales tools, including networks like LinkedIn.
  • Fluency in English and other European languages (Nordics languages highly appreciated)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft® Office and CRM tools.
