As an experienced Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in the leadership team of our Business-to-Customer Department (Client Side Engineering). Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Delivery area, ensuring the delivery of mobile applications within WSA. Managing a diverse team of around 60 people across development locations in Denmark, Germany, Macedonia and India, your influence will be felt across borders.
What you will do
- Lead and inspire a dynamic team of engineering professionals in a regulated R&D environment
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving high performance and agility across the delivery organization
- Streamline operations for efficiency, optimize cost-effectiveness and promote transparency
- Champion employee engagement, fostering understanding of roles and contributions
- Translate strategy into actionable plans, drive productivity, and achieve yearly development goals
- Implement and optimize organizational structures within a global R&D setting
- Partner with product engineering and other business units to achieve strategic objectives
- Utilize data-driven decision making to guide team processes and priorities
- Proactively manage people-related matters, including recruitment and performance reviews
What you bring
Experience
- Proven track record of leading global development teams in an agile setup
- Seasoned leader with 8-10 years of experience who has transitioned from leading individuals to leading leaders
- Proficient in change management, demonstrating a track record of navigating transformations effectively
- Ability to translate strategy into tactical and operational execution
- Ability to adapt leadership styles and build trust with diverse teams
- Capable of frequent travel, approximately one week every two months, to support and engage with diverse teams
- Background in mobile app development is seen as a plus
