CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a cornerstone of CBRE Group, Inc. — the world's foremost commercial real estate services and investment firm — is eagerly seeking a People Director to lead our HR and People strategy in Denmark, with Copenhagen as the home base. This role is central to driving HR excellence, spearheading the adoption of new initiatives, and ensuring the alignment of people practices across our diverse business sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities
Acting as a strategic ally to the Managing Director, this position is crucial for guiding and developing a People team, dedicated to supporting our growing business, which currently spans approximately 1,400 employees across various HR functions. You will report to the European People Director with a dotted line to the Managing Director. In this role, you will provide strategic partnership and support to the division's management on critical business decisions and change processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive People strategy that mirrors both our local and global ambitions, including the smooth execution of essential processes like Salary Planning, Incentives, and Performance Reviews.

Leading our People team consisting of 9 HR employees, a Salary Manager and 5 Salary employees, you will play a pivotal role in their professional development while ensuring the highest level of support for our expanding operations. Your expertise in employee relations will be key, as you offer guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance counseling. Additionally, you will oversee investigations to uphold a fair and compliant workplace, free from discrimination and unfair practices. CBRE GWS are two years into a merger process, you will support managers throughout the change and provide feedback to regional and global stakeholders of change requirements, including the process of unification of 2 organizations after the merger.

Your role extends to managing transitions, organizational restructuring, and the pursuit of continuous improvement initiatives, assisting managers in rolling out effective talent development strategies. Furthermore, you will oversee critical third-party relationships (recruitment, benefits), safeguarding the integrity and compliance of our HR services.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a substantial background in HR leadership within an international or matrixed organization, with a deep understanding of employment relations, particularly in the technical services or production realms. A proactive, driven individual, you are well-equipped to support and steer business growth. Your ability to manage diverse HR functions and lead teams towards success, combined with fluency in English and Danish and exceptional communication skills, will set you apart. A degree in HR or related fields would be advantageous.
