Are you an experienced leader with a proven track record of leading industrialisation initiatives in a manufacturing environment? Then you might be the Head of Manufacturing Engineering we are looking for to strengthen our organisation.

Your key responsibility
As Head of Manufacturing Engineering, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for our manufacturing engineering function reporting to the COO. Together with the Head of Production and other department heads you will ensure seamless coordination and integration of manufacturing engineering efforts. To support our journey, you will support the scale-up of our manufacturing operations by setting up and continuously improving an efficient and effective production system that can meet market demands.

Your main tasks and deliverables include:

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for the growth and improvement of manufacturing engineering activities.
  • Implement cost-effectiveness strategies without compromising safety or quality standards.
  • To ensure consistent improvement you will define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to industrial system safety, quality, and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you have an educational background in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent, complemented with a minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a leadership role. Knowledge of electrolyser design and related production processes is considered an advantage. Furthermore, your experience is characterised by:

  • Proven track record of successfully leading industrialisation initiatives in an assembly manufacturing environment - ideally within a scale-/ramp-up environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement.

On a personal level, you possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop teams. You excel in achieving results, utilising your strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and never stray from being a role model for collaboration.
