Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your data management abilities with your passion for sustainability? Do you want to join an international organization that is ambitious about sustainability across value chain and legal entities? Then we have an exciting opportunity in this newly created role as an ESG Data Specialist.

In the role, you will play an instrumental part in realizing Fertin Pharma’s ambitions to advance, professionalize, and optimize ESG Data management. You will work in close collaboration with the Senior ESG Manager and stakeholders across the organization as you build value adding ESG data management that secures progress in Fertin Pharma’s overall sustainability journey.

You are a key contributor to achieving ESG targets and business obligations:
ESG & Sustainability is a continuously evolving area, and you will have a centrally placed role in developing and integrating these activities into value-adding activity. Your main responsibility will be to develop and operate Fertin Pharma’s ESG data system, setting the standard for how we manage ESG data across the organization. More specifically you will:
• Develop the ESG database including developing the system and tools used for data collection.
• Facilitate data collection across the organization and company value-chain.
• Define and analyze cross-organizational ESG data for sustainability reporting incl. CSRD reporting.
• Assist and conduct company CO2-accounting.
• Support strategic and project decision-making with sound and applicable ESG data.

ESG Data Specialist with a passion for making a difference:
To be successful in this role, we imagine you have a relevant educational background as a BA or MA in Finance, Economics, Business or similar. More importantly, you are passionate about sustainability and making a difference through data management.

You are structured and creative in developing solutions and systems when there are none. You are curious and interested in understanding a complex production company and visualizing ESG data across the organization. As Fertin Pharma is a global organization and stakeholders come from countries around the world, fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement.

As a data-cruncher with a good eye for details, you enjoy deep diving into complex data in order to extract value-adding information. At the same time, you are able to take a step back to get a broader perspective and appreciate building sensible data structures across legal entities value chain.

You might come from a role with similar responsibilities, and are familiar with tasks such as:
• Financial and/or non-financial data management.
• ESG and Sustainability areas, such as CO2 accounting and Human Rights Due Diligence.
• ESG reporting standards and platforms, incl. CSRD.
• SAP and/or Product Lifecycle Management systems.
• ESG process controls and documentation.
• International processes and projects.
