For the Hardware Platform teams located primarily in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an electrical engineer for our SCADA platform used globally in all SGRE Plants.

How to contribute to our vision
As an electrical engineer in Hardware platform team within the Technology unit, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated electrical engineer to support development of new panel solutions.

As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for the development of the SCADA panels, that is used for the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SCADA system. You will be a part of a team which operates in a busy and rapid changing environment. It is therefore a requirement that you can handle and cope with many parallel ongoing tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and optimization of the SCADA panels including the electrical parts used in the SCADA system.
  • Coordinate new development with Business Units for standard solutions.
  • Handle special requirement change with business units.
  • Coordinate with supplier on new projects.
  • Ensure the SCADA panels are following rules and regulations.
  • Create documentation, support in the creation of BoM and the release process on new products.

Your qualification:
The ideal candidate has a background as Electrical Engineer, electrical contractor, or Marine Engineer, combined with some years of practical experience.

  • Experience in the design of electrical cabinets/panels and you have good knowledge of the design and manufacturing process of electrical systems and cabinets.
  • You are familiar with the international standards and best practices related to cabinet design like IEC61439 series and IEC60204-1.
  • You have knowledge about and worked with safety and security regulations for electrical hardware.
  • Knowledge of various electrical CAD Tools would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of driving projects, maybe in a Project Manager role, and experience in coordinating projects between different teams and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of Scada systems used in Windfarms or Datacenter installations would be a plus.
