Our Commercial Finance team is expanding and is looking for our next Commercial Analyst to work closely with internal stakeholders of the business, optimize our business processes and improve performance.

In Commercial Finance we analyse and review Saxo’s revenue performance and report to relevant internal stakeholders. We help shape the commercial agenda in collaboration with our Global Sales department and Saxo Experience Office (SXO) across the client journeys and our local offices.

Our team consists of five analysts with one employee placed in the Netherlands and the rest of the team placed in our headquarter in Copenhagen. We encourage each other to always be curious and challenge the status quo when it comes to optimizing financial performance.

As our new Commercial Analyst, you will be reporting directly to our Head of Commercial Analysis and BI.

Responsibilities

The department is overall or partly responsible for:

• Financial Forecasting and target setting
• Business cases
• Performance follow-up including monthly reporting
• Creating standardised reporting for the company (through Power BI)
• Support the CFO with analysis and commercial insights
• Support SXO and Global Sales with e.g. analysis and models for estimating the financial impact
• Ad hoc analysis relating to revenue or commercial drivers

Your role will be centred around our client journeys and examples of responsibilities and tasks are:

• Analysing our marketing performance and the return on the investments we make
• Understanding where the pain points in the onboarding flow is
• Analysing the lifecycle of our clients and what states they go through
• Building and maintaining Power BI reports
• Deep dives in different shapes and forms

Your profile

To be successful as our new Commercial Analyst, you are curios, a logical thinker and attentive to detail. You can translate complex data into valuable insights and action points for our stakeholders.

As a person, you want to be smarter than you were yesterday and enjoy sharing learning with your team members to ensure that we all get smarter - together. It also doesn’t hurt to have a sound understanding of math and modelling, and a good (at times bad) sense of humor!

• A commercial mindset in combination with a service minded nature – you want to be a part of the solution
• Highly capable in Excel
• SQL and Power BI skills are an advantage
• Ability to understand complex ideas and structures, but communicate them simply
• Structured approach to problem solving
• Relevant education (for example economy, finance, engineer) and/or relevant work experience
• English is the corporate language, but Danish is an advantage
