As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we're seeking a skilled and motivated Global Logistics Optimizer with expertise in Lean principles to optimize our global supply chain and value stream – are you the one we are looking for?

Your challenges
As our new Global Logistics Optimizer, you'll be key in driving optimizations throughout our supply chain, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction from our factory shipping docks to raw material suppliers' loading docks.

You will be employed in Skjern, where you will join our local logistics team, reporting into our Logistics Manager (Tina Byskov). In addition, you will have a dotted reporting line into our Global Logistics function, thereby working with both global and local aspects.

Your tasks will mainly be within the following:

• Implement Lean principles to optimize our global supply chain and value stream.
• Oversee improvements in logistics operations across various production areas.
• Act as a change agent on projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Responsible for implementation of standard processes and layouts.
• Build relationships with stakeholders in our global manufacturing logistics team.
• Monitor logistic key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize digitalization tools, including SAP/ERP and Ariba, within procurement.
• Facilitate competence development workshops in manufacturing logistics, emphasizing Lean principles.
• Continuously identify, define, and implement improvements in the logistics setup.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with focus Logistics and Flow.

In this role you should expect 10-20 days of travelling per year within Europe.

Your qualifications
It is important and required that you

• Bring proven experience (minimum 2 years) from a role within Logistics, and preferably with a focus on optimizing supply chain and value streams.
• Have a good understanding of material flow, production layout, and warehouse logistics.
• Are fluent in English.
• Are able to have a conversational (speak and understanding) in Danish.

Furthermore, it would be an advantage if you

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Are familiar with ERP (we use SAP) and EDI (we use Ariba).
• Are comfortable presenting in front of others, and have the ability to teach others about your expertise areas (Logistics and Flow)

As a person, your strong points are your analytic, systematic and thorough approach to task solving including the ability to focus on the progression of your own projects and tasks while still having a good eye for details.
