Head of B2C Retail IT and B2C Business Relationship Manager

Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill a dual role as Head of B2C Retail IT and B2C overall Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for both retail and wholesale. This unique position combines strategic oversight of our B2C retail IT operations with the pivotal role of BRM for B2C, acting as a crucial link between IT and the B2C Business Unit. This role reports to our Senior Director, Head of Sell and Deliver IT. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance, orchestrate target architecture, and drive demand management for tranformation and continuous developments, ensuring technology investments deliver optimal business value across our retail and wholesale operations.

Head of B2C Retail IT Responsibilities

  • Strategic IT Leadership for B2C Retail Team: Manage the B2C Retail IT team. Lead the development and execution of the IT strategy specifically for the B2C retail sector, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Technology Implementation and Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of technology solutions that drive efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the B2C retail space.
  • IT Infrastructure and Security: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructures supporting B2C retail operations.
  • Vendor and Technology Partnerships: Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and collaborations that benefit the B2C retail segment.
  • Demand Management across B2C: Coordinate and prioritize IT demands from both B2C retail and wholesale operations, ensuring projects and resources align with strategic business objectives.

B2C Business Relationship Manager (BRM) Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as the liaison between IT and B2C business units (retail and wholesale), supporting the Head of Sell & Deliver IT in facilitating open and effective communication to understand and align on business needs and strategies, with B2C business stakeholders.
  • Strategic Business Advising: Provide strategic insights and advice to B2C business leaders on leveraging technology for business growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
  • Business Advocacy in IT: Represent the needs and priorities of the B2C business within IT discussions and planning, advocating for solutions that support and drive business objectives.
  • Performance Measurement and Alignment: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the performance of IT services in delivering value to the B2C business, advocating for continuous improvement.

Shared Responsibilities

  • Architecture Orchestration: Collaborate on guiding the planning and implementation of enterprise architecture that supports B2C business strategies, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
  • Governance and Policy Development: Work together to assist in the development and enforcement of IT governance policies and practices that align with B2C business objectives.
  • Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Jointly provide insights and recommendations during the budgeting process for IT expenditures, ensuring they align with B2C business priorities and deliver maximum value.
