Embark upon a transformative journey in a highly prioritized business area as Project Manager for Bavarian Nordics External Manufacturing
Lead cross-functional projects and collaborations with CDMOs
As a result of the increasing global demand for Bavarian Nordics vaccines, their external manufacturing business area is evolving. As such, they are looking for a Project Manager for External Manufacturing to join their CDMO Operations team and lead projects related to technology transfer, onboarding new CDMOs, and/or scaling up processes. All projects with the purpose of ensuring successful global partnerships. You will be assigned a CDMO and lead the partnership starting from the early implementation phase followed by additional life cycle management activities. As the project manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and act as the key responsible for the communication with the CDMO to ensure that production activities are executed in accordance with project- and production plans. Likewise, you will develop a KPI system and reporting processes as well as reviewing and approving project- and operations documents. Finally, you will oversee that QMS systems are in place and ensure that relevant requirements are implemented.

Skillset in project management from a regulated industry
You are expected to hold a relevant science degree combined with project management experience from a regulated industry such as the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotech industry, in which you have gained insights into manufacturing processes. As such, you can come from various positions within project management, production support or process development, which has provided you with the skillset to lead a project team and ensure that important information is shared with key stakeholders and deadlines are met.

Personally, you are a strong collaborator, who knows how to navigate across cultures as well as at all business levels. To succeed in this role, you need a customer-oriented mindset, commercial edge, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
