Analyst Asset Performance

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for supporting the development of the tools used to analyze the performance of our region Americas operating assets (wind, solar and battery storage) through effective data management. This includes data analysis as well as visualizations, data blending, and data validations. You’ll need to support the design and implementation of indices, key metrics, and data models to identify performance improvement opportunities.

Welcome to Asset Performance
You’ll be part of Performance Analytics where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for translating data into meaningful performance metrics, reports, and analysis, ensuring valuable insights across our portfolio in region Americas. You’ll build and maintain relationships with site representatives, asset managers, data scientists, engineers, and external stakeholders supporting the strategic initiatives across the fleet when it comes to data analysis requests, internal and external reporting, anomaly detection and performance evaluations. As a team, we consist of six diverse and energetic individuals, with broad capabilities when it comes to the renewables industry and working with data and analytics.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • utilizing and developing the existing data platform to facilitate analysis with focus on anomaly detections as well as monitoring the performance of assets
  • validating and developing reporting provided by suppliers in respect of contractual requirements
  • developing, reporting, and managing implementation of new metrics, algorithms, and indicators for the assets
  • testing and implementing data sources used for all analysis and reporting, incl. availability and quality assessments of data
  • refining and optimizing processes in relation to internal and external reporting deliverables.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s or master’s in engineering, business, economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related technical field
  • have strong communication, presentation as well as analytical problem-solving skills
  • have a self-driven, motivated, and systematic approach to your work, delivering high-quality solutions
  • are proficient in Python, R, SQL, Microsoft Office software suite, Power BI, and Tableau
  • quickly learn and understand data structures, software platforms, and performance metrics to gain insights from operational data
