Do you have technical proficiency in working with and implementing CRM platforms? Do you possess great analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving? Can you easily communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders ensuring effective collaboration? Then you might be our new Solution Architect.

You will be joining the global function IT & Digital Enablement (IT&DE) and be part of a team of skilled Solution Architects working with and supporting the VELUX Sales and Marketing functions. These functions are highly important to deliver the VELUX strategy, which means they are areas of growth and development.

To be able to support and influence this journey, we are currently looking for three new colleagues to join our team.

Your challenges
In this role you will closely collaborate with and support the Global VELUX Sales and Marketing organisation with developing the right CRM solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will be to architect and design digital solutions based on VELUX’ IT architectural standards and guidelines. This involves translating business needs into solution designs that meet functional requirements, non-functional requirements and financial constraints. You will ensure that the solution is scalable and fit for the desired business process context and infrastructure requirements.

Furthermore, your primary tasks will be to:

  • Develop solution designs (Solution Blueprint) that converts business processes and requirements into an architecture design (Business IT).
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, customization, testing, and deployment.
  • In close collaboration with product owner create backlogs, prioritize and secure progress of all related activities.
  • Collaborate and coordinate closely with BRMs, other solution architects as well as internal and external technical resources.
  • Support Project Managers in solution planning activities such as estimations of work effort across project phases.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies within digital development and incorporate them into the solutions together with learnings from previous experiences.

You will be part of a global organisation and will be based at either our office in Budapest, Hungary or at the Head Office in Hørsholm, Denmark. We utilise our available technology to work virtually but depending on the location you can expect some travel.

Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience in IT or Marketing (with close touch points to IT) and strong technical proficiency. Most importantly, we are looking for you to have a strong wish to learn and be motivated by being part of a team of skilled colleagues where independent work and cooperation go hand in hand.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Have experience with implementing CRM solutions (e.g. SAP Sales & Service Cloud, Aurea CRM or Salesforce).
  • Have technical proficiency in CRM platforms, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities as well as experience with CRM data modeling, data migration, and data quality management.
  • Have strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem solving in solution modelling and systems integration activities.
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English and possess advanced communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
