Are you driven by the challenge of mastering the art and science behind colour anodizing processes to shape the visual appeal and functionality across our wide product range?

As a Laboratory Technician in Colour Anodizing, you will join the Technology department, Advanced Manufacturing, and work out our office and factory in Struer, Denmark. Your work will be immersed in the craft of aluminium production and implement new colour series and technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methods within aluminium production.
  • Lead and support implementation of special aluminium colour series.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure an integrated approach.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and quality of production processes.
  • Provide input on investment decisions related to new machines and equipment.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of production processes to identify areas with improvement potential.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technological changes and updates.
  • Prepare reports on results and maintain documentation.

What you bring
We are looking for someone who is a Laboratory Technician or possesses a comparable education with a minimum of a few years of experience in a similar environment.
Moreover, you bring:

  • The Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of Anodizing aluminium and related technologies.
  • An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic production environment.
  • Fluency in Danish and English

What we offer
In Advanced Manufacturing we develop solutions for a wide range of tasks within development and operations at Bang & Olufsen’s Engineering Factory, that produces aluminium parts and additional assembly processes. You will work in a team of 6 dedicated colleagues who are specialist within their field of material and processes. Furthermore, you well be collaborating with our Atelier and Design teams.
Our main mission is to develop and produce aesthetic aluminium parts by mastering the full process chain. The processes mastered are grinding, turning, polishing, milling, welding, cutting/punching, forming, anodizing, adhesive bonding, and assembly.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
