Senior Business Analyst for Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

The Group Financial Planning and Analysis team needs a talented individual who is experienced in financial forecasting and decision analysis and can provide insights to a global organization.

Financial Planning & Analysis is a team within the Group CFO area of FLSmidth. The team is responsible for driving performance management, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting and business partnering to Group functions.

Your responsibilities

• Support the Group CFO area by conducting advanced financial analysis and modelling
• Drive and structure the forecast and budget process
• Develop and maintain long term financial model for decision and strategy support
• Deliver analysis to support M&A transactions and valuation
• Develop tools for data management, analysis, and reporting/dashboards
• Facilitate and promote standardization in processes and help improve data quality
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to management and other stakeholders
• Assist in management reporting and in developing and maintaining reporting templates
• Liaise and build relationships with relevant stakeholders globally

What you bring
A positive attitude and a relevant university degree within economics, finance or similar, and at least 6 years of relevant experience preferably from a multinational corporate, a consultancy, or an investment bank. You have solid experience with financial modelling and analysis and possess the capability to present complex financial information in a crisp and clear manner to decision-makers at all levels of the organisation. You are structured and thrive when facilitating change and process improvement. As a team player you collaborate effectively with other departments and colleagues to achieve common goals.
