Position Overview:
As the Senior Functional Product Owner (SFPO) for Own Controlled Flight Operations (OCFO) and Insurance, you will be entrusted with global accountability for managing Maersk's processes concerning L2 SVD processes within the TbM L&S Service Delivery L1 process area. This pivotal role requires balancing product needs with the integrity of end-to-end (E2E) processes, ensuring a seamless customer and user experience. Your responsibilities encompass designing, executing, monitoring, and enhancing processes within your scope, aiming for well-defined processes harmonized with product and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive purpose and vision for assigned L2 process area. , i.e. Network design, Deployment, Flight scheduling, Capacity & consumption and Operations execution
  • Serve as primary point of contact for TbM OCFO & Insurance.
  • Define overall process design down to SOPs level and establish connections with other processes.
  • Set process objectives, targets, and measurements for assessing and enhancing maturity., i.e. Network design, Deployment, Flight scheduling, Capacity & consumption and Operations execution
  • Ensure adherence to process governance standards and maintain an up-to-date Process Map library for the L2 processes (capabilities) and associated L3s (processes), L4s (activities) and L5s
  • Guide prioritization and sequencing of changes & requests affecting the process domain.
  • Take ownership of master data processes and associated responsibilities.
  • Lead various scopes, such as post-M&A process enablement or project management if necessary.
  • Create and implement Business Policies to standardize the process landscape.
  • Continuously improve processes based on frontline/execution input from end users.
  • Operationalizes key initiatives with Platform stakeholders in ensuring User Stories are delivering the intended user, product, and business features in line with 3PDF framework

Critical Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of organizational processes and their alignment with business objectives, alongside the ability to lead process analysis and design for identifying areas of improvement. They should possess a willingness to learn and adapt to new methodologies, while also fostering high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and motivation. Adaptability to changing business environments, coupled with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and personal/professional development, is essential. A background in air freight is preferred.

Whilst the preference is for the role to be based in Copenhagen we would be happy to talk to candidates about working from other European locations or providing relocation to Denmark.
