The role
‘The Cloud for Marketing Freelancer’ at IIH Nordic will work closely together with a highly skilled team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers, Analysts, Cloud- and Tracking Engineers and Ad Specialists to assist in creating value to many businesses through activation of customer data.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mid-level (or above) ‘Cloud for Marketing’ Specialist who has expertise in data engineering and/or data science. The time spans over three months, from the 20th of May until the 9th of August and is on site at Islands Brygge in Copenhagen. In this role, you will play a critical role in leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to extract insights from various data sources (CRM, ERP, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, Social Media) and build data-driven solutions for our Cloud for Marketing initiatives in order to help our customers activate and gain value from their data.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using Google Cloud to ingest, clean, and transform marketing data (ETL pipelines).
• Build and deploy machine learning models on Vertex AI and BigQuery for tasks such as Propensity To Buy modeling, Churn Prediction, and Next Best Offer modeling.
• Integrate the ML model outputs into the client’s existing systems to ensure actionable insights.
• Develop clear and concise data visualizations to effectively communicate the value these insights deliver to stakeholders.
• Create documentation for the data pipelines and models.

You are a perfect fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer or similar role working on Cloud Platforms.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines and machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
• Expertise in Python programming and Standard SQL for data science and data engineering tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its products, including Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Experience working in the Marketing or Advertising domain

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with Airflow or Composer for data orchestration.
• A GCP Data Engineer or ML Engineer certificate.
