The Role
The Senior Development Acquisitions Manager is responsible for managing the acquisition of allocated renewable energy projects, leading technical due diligence and feasibility in early-stage projects. Working collaboratively with the client’s investment team, you will lead internal resources and external consultants to support the successful acquisition of renewable energy projects into the clients’ investment portfolio.

An element of this role involves project reviews to determine suitability for client’s investment portfolio, clearly articulating gaps to understand the value proposition. Demonstrated experience developing project schedules and budgets, defining delivery plans, negotiating transaction documents and safeguarding returns by defining and mitigating key project risks is essential.

You will be financially astute as you procure project resources and lead with inputs to internal stakeholders for divestments and financing as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, we require a candidate to come from a strong renewables background.

About You

  • Qualification in either Commercial, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent industry experience across the renewables sector is essential
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale infrastructure transaction/M&A, development management and/or project management of renewable energy projects/associated infrastructure
  • Strong ability to be client-facing and the capability to communicate complex technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen, familiarity with outcomes, business cases, budgets
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills including delegation, consultation and facilitating teamwork
