How you might spend your days
As Manager for Engineering Management, you’ll be:

  • Working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team of approximately 45 engineering managers
  • Be paired with our other Manager in the department, sharing responsibilities and objectives.
  • Providing management, leadership, and strategic vision for the Engineering Management team
  • Coordinating with Senior Management to create processes and systems to ensure effective project management and implementation across the organization.
  • Directing the activities of the Engineering Management team and determine how team resources should be allocated across projects.
  • Creating training and capacity building process and training modules to promote project management best practices.
  • Communicating with Senior Management on successes, issues and lessons learned from implementation and share these across NNE’s organization.
  • Developing your team members and help constructively build their competences within the company.
  • Doing stakeholder management. Ensure efficient cooperation with customer’s project team and that stakeholders, especially steering committee, are informed about project status, challenges, risks and mitigating actions.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • Engineering degree, preferably in mechanical, chemical or biotechnology
  • Strong experience of at least 5 years of relevant work experience in international organizations or in multi-cultural environments, preferably from pharma & biotech industries.
  • Having previously held a role as Project Engineering Manager/Technical Project Manager for multi-disciplinary EPCMV projects, preferably within pharma engineering.
  • Experience in coaching and leading project team members
    Interest in working in an energetic environment, engagement and want to work with highly skilled colleagues.
  • Global working experience
  • Leadership experience from working with project teams. Understanding of project governance structures and optimization
  • Experience working closely with customer project managers and key project team members.
  • Result-oriented and focused on resolving problems to the benefit of all stakeholders.
