Join us as our new QC Chemist
We have important tasks to do, and we need one more chemist to help doing them and join the fun. As QC Chemist, you will quickly find yourself engaged in a variety of tasks and projects in the lab. These could be troubleshooting of lab equipment, e.g., IC, MS, HPLC, UPLC, GC, ICP and smaller equipment for physical methods, updating protocols, driving quality initiatives and improvements. All this needs to be in accordance with GLP and ISO regulations and in close collaboration with the team of lab technicians and the management team. We consider the broad portfolio of equipment and types of tasks as quite unique and exciting, as it makes it possible for you to create a job where your skills and mindset are unlocked for high impact on both business, quality and people.

In QC Lab Ka, we are 60 employees, and we’re part of a large family of QC laboratories spread across the world. The department encompass three distinct disciplines: Chemistry, Substrate production and Microbiology. To strengthen our capabilities and compliance, we’re looking for a chemist to join the Chemical team to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality analyses of both development samples, intermediates, and finished products. Your new colleagues in the team will be 15 technicians, a fellow chemist, and a team leader. We care a lot about positive and engaging collaboration to thrive and to harvest the full potential of the combined team and department.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Having strong analytical skills and a structured approach
• Ensuring continuous focus on quality requirements and compliance
• Taking responsibility for both output and troubleshooting
• Teaming up with many colleagues to ensure progress and anchoring of decisions
• Knowing what it means to build in quality in everything you do

To succeed you must hold:

• A master’s degree or Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry or similar life science field – or having obtained comparable knowledge and experience
• Be knowledgeable of quality requirements (ISO/GLP/GMP) and LEAN optimization
• Be proactive and motivated with a drive for results within the comfort and style of a relaxed and open-hearted lab
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills (in both Danish and English) and a positive attitude
• Enjoy working in, and contribute to, a fun, efficient and informal atmosphere (because that’s what we do).

Location: This job will be located at the Kalundborg site (daily presence).
