Senior Financial Controller

The steep growth of Nitor comes with increasing complexity of auditing and reporting. To ensure the continuous growth trajectory of the company we have several big projects in the pipelines, including migrating to IFRS accounting standards. Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take the lead in this transition. If you join our Finance & Accounting team, you will be a part of a young, dynamic, and ambitious environment. You can make an immediate impact by being an integral part of the continuous development and maturing of the Finance & Accounting function.

Your main working areas will be:

• Take lead in IFRS migration and ESG implementation
• Take part of the monthly and yearly closing of the books, including balance reconciliation and reporting
• Take part in the day-to-day operations in the finance department, including bookings in co-operations with our accountants
• Assist in developing financial process and checks through automation and innovation
• Ensure best-in-class financial controlling and reporting
• Be inhouse liaison on TAX and VAT related issues, in co-operation with external consultants

What we expect:

• Preferably you have 3-4 years of experience working either in an audit firm or within a finance function
• Experience working with IFRS
• Willingness to work with ESG reporting
• You are very structured and have an eye for the detail
• Have a winning mentality and is willing to take on responsibility
• You always challenge the status quo and do not take no for an answer
• Are a team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide others, when necessary
• You have a pragmatic mindset and get things done
