What will you be doing you ask?
As the Group Category Sourcing Manager, Climate and Renewable Energy, you will be responsible for executing on the sourcing strategy, and supervising the “Sourcing Excellence” discipline within the Climate and Renewable Energy category. Climate and Renewable Energy is focused on and divided into four sub-categories; heat pumps, photovoltaic panels and inverters, charging e-mobility, and ventilation.

You will act as the trader representing and supporting the vendor negotiations in order to get the best agreements and purchase conditions possible for Solar. In general, you also support the development of sourcing, as a well-known discipline within the entire category.

Sourcing is a balancing act. It is the process of requesting quotes for new products, planning and executing vendor negotiations, maintaining information in our procurement software, challenging the lead times, payment terms, minimum order quantities etc. - In other words, pretty much everything related to profitability.

Other key responsibilities will be:

• Acting as the vendor agreement responsible in our procurement systems
• Supporting the category strategy with specific sourcing strategy
• Focus on and responsible for COGS (Cost Of Goods Sold)
• Vendor scouting
• Tenders
• Cross stocking (intercompany trading)

What do you bring to the table
We are looking for a strong and creative sourcing profile that harvest energy from negotiating on a daily basis, and of course you must be able to work both in teams, as well as independently.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

• Solid experience within the field of supply chain & sourcing
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English
• Experience of working within a international and cross functional team
• Willingness to travel occasionally
