Technical Designer

Are you passionate about technical drawings? Then this could be the next position for you. We are looking for a Technical Designer to join our Process Engineering team at Green Hydrogen Systems.

Your key responsibilities
As Technical Designer your key responsibility will be to ensure seamless updates of process engineering related documentation. Focusing primarily on P&IDs within our project portfolio, you will also take on the role as our PLM System Superuser. In close collaboration with Process Engineers and Project Managers, you will gather and document changes, ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders.

Your main tasks and deliveries will include:

• Update of P&ID, line/equipment list among other documents.
• Ensure quality assurance according to internal procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in line walks.
• Assisting in 2D/3D design within the Mechanical Department, when needed.

To succeed in this position, you thrive with administrative tasks ensuring quick, efficient, and correct updates of documentation. Your experience enables you to develop intelligent P&IDs, component- and tagging-database and actively contribute to increasing the quality and development time of our documentation.

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with a technical degree and experience working as a Technical Draftsman, Technical Designer or Technical Assistant. Your passion for technical drawings is essential, making you a super user of CAD drawing programs (AutoCAD or Draftsight), SolidWorks or other 3D CAD programs. Knowledge of symbol and tagging reference, such as ISO10628, ISO14617 and RDS 81346 is considered an advantage.

On a personal level, you are self-driven and take ownership of your tasks. You have a structured approach and the ability to swiftly familiarise yourself with technical issues. You are detail oriented and take pride in delivering quality in your work. You will be communicating with stakeholders across the entire organisation and effective communication skills is crucial.
